Saturday
11AM Find Your Rhythm (Beginner Roller Dance)
This workshop is geared towards any skaters looking to get into the world of roller dance, or experienced skaters looking to brush up on foundation. We will cover techniques such as balance, weight transfer, and edge work, and also introduce you to beginner steps and moves.
It is recommended to have the basics of skating before participating such as rolling forward, backwards, transitions, and stopping.
Note: We will be covering different moves in the Saturday and Sunday classes. It’s recommended to take both, but not required.
1PM Footwork & Spins (Open Level)
Take your dance skating to the next level by learning footwork patterns and variations. In addition, we’ll be covering different ways and types of spins.
Note: We will be covering different moves in the Saturday and Sunday classes. It’s recommended to take both, but not required.
3PM ON/OFF Skates (Open Level)
This workshop is a unique class in which we will learn fundamental dance techniques to be able to elevate your moves on skates. We will start the first half of the lesson in shoes to learn basic grooves and footwork and then bridge the gap by applying what we’ve learned with our skates on.

This workshop will give you tools and techniques to improve your roller dance flow and freestyle. We’ll be covering topics such as musicality, body awareness, utilizing space, changing levels, dynamics, and storytelling.
