Group classes are $25/class. You can approach your learning schedule by booking into a class and then practice at the studio at $5/hr practice time or practice at your favorite practice spot and book into another class when you are ready for more information. Or if you need accountability and/or just want regular stream of instruction, and you can check our “Packages & Monthly Memberships” designed to save you money on your regular class attendance. Packages do not expire and do not auto-renew. Memberships Auto-renew for 3 months and include unlimited practice time in the studio during open hours. There will always be space to practice even if there is class going on.


Beaverton Location: You’re going to put “Cedar Hills Park” into your gps. Follow the road past the park and fields. It ends at William Walker Elementary School. Enter the schoolyard through the gate entrance closest to the building. All other entrances will be locked. You’ll find Alma in the converted basketball area. 

Roll Right is a Learn-to-Skate curriculum and requires you to wear a helmet, wrist guards, elbow pads, and knee pads. This is for the skater just getting started. This curriculum teaches foundational skate skills in clear progressions. You keep track in your progress booklet and we keep track of your progress in our charts. You must register your $20 annual membership with RollRight.Org before booking your first class. A complimentary skate bag is included with your membership fee. Membership allows you to take Roll Right classes with any Roll Right certified instructor without having to start over. RollRight.org also provides you with support videos of skills taught so you can remember what they are when you leave the class.

Step 2: Create your Vagaro.com profile and sign our SOS waivers and forms.

Step 3: Book and pay for your class online only.. no cash is accepted.

If you come to class without all of your protective gear, you will lose your class.

Kids and Adults are grouped separately with their own instructors if they share the same class time. Kind of perfect for parents who want to learn something new along with their kids. Parents must stay onsite for the entirety of their kid”s class.

$5 Rental skates are available in order to try skating before investing in your own gear only at our Lloyd Center location.


SOS Intermediate-Advance Classes

Prerequisites: must be able to skate forward and backwards, stop in both directions, transition from forward-backward-forward, and hold a 1 foot glide for 5 seconds.

In Rhythm Skate Class, you'll learn a variety of rhythm skating routines. Some of the routines have a base rhythm skating pattern and then call outs off of base. You'll learn how to follow the leader and understand when to execute moves and various choreo

In Footwork Essentials Class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of balance, edges, rotation and posture as they apply to common footwork used to roller skate. We’ll practice footwork skills encouraging both structured and freestyle expression. This is a class where you learn to do individual skate skills like pivots, spins, grapevine, snakewalk, dribbles, hez, zero, different transitions, crossovers, etc. This class is slightly different than the one offered at the rink in that the class size is capped at 25 at the studio vs 40 at the rink. At the Studio, you’ll get a lot more attention. Either way we meet you where you’re at and help elevate you closer to the goal.


***All lessons and group classes at SOS Skate Studio in Lloyd Center Mall include 15 minutes of practice time in the studio following the lesson or class. If it is a 6pm class, you may show up 30 minutes prior to class for practice.***
